Yes, we offer before care 7:30 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. and after care from 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. There will be an additional fee of $80/month if you require either before or after care or $160/month if you require both before and after care.
We will contact you via email or phone once you book a session and provide the e-mail for the e-money transfer.
Each day will look different, however we do incorporate a routine during the 2.5hr day. The day starts off with drop-off at either High Park or Rennie Park, circle time for a story and/or discussion, free play, planned activity, washroom break, snack, washroom break, hike, meditation and closing circle time.

The day starts off with pick-up from Howard Jr P.S and Garden Ave Jr P.S during school dismissal hours and parents also have the option to drop their child off to High Park at 4 P.M. to participate in the afterschool club. Washroom break, huddle for a discussion, free play, planned activity, snack (parents must provide snack and water), hike, meditation and dismissal.
At this time, only our summer Bear Program is operating full-time.

We believe there is no "bad weather" there is only improper preparation for certain weather conditions. Attached is a photo of the Forest School Weather Policy we follow. During inclement weather we will remain open, however we will switch to indoor programming at either a rec center or library. There will be no refunds due to inclement weather.
We are not a certified Montessori program. We run a Montessori inspired program outdoors.
No, we do not have access to the CWELCC program.
No. Please ensure your child is comfortable with the outdoors and certain weather conditions before signing them up for a session.
In order for our program to run smoothly and remain consistent, we recommend dropping your child off and leaving.
We will set up a 15 minute meet and greet where your child is welcomed to be in attendance. This gives your child the opportunity to meet us and ease any nerves they may have about joining our program. We recommend signing up for your session a week in advance so we can send you a "What to Expect/Bring" information email, to ensure your child is prepared for their first day.
Yes. However, we do not offer refunds.
Each 4 week session is Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am-11:30am.
Yes. You can pay for any of the sessions listed on our registration page.
Our 4 week sessions are not reoccurring. If you wish to continue you can sign up for another 4 week session.
Your child may be more calm, learn better self-regulation, be more excited and eager to learn at the start of each week.

The health, risk and safety of the children in our program is taken very seriously. We are CPR certified as well as trained in First Aid and we always carry a First Aid kit with us. We always conduct a thorough inspection of the sites we visit. We also ensure the children understand the importance regarding the health, risk and safety of themselves and of those around them.
